FAQS

Q. What kind of horsepower gains can I expect from a stage 1, 2 or 3 head?
      A. Ultimately it depends upon what you start with and the supporting parts.
Horsepower and speed are always hindered by the weakest links.
Flow bench wise a stage 1 is worth about 40 flywheel hp, stage 2 about 80, and stage 3 up to 150 hp.
Q. Why do you use bigger intake valves than most people?
      A. I believe velocity is the result of the entire port configuration, not just valve size.
So to get cfm I go a little bigger instead of thinner on the port walls.
Q. Your head work is cheaper than the big boys, does that mean it's less quality?
      A. I believe in giving a good value for the dollar. The most expensive is not always the best value.
You may get a few more cfm, but it's probably not worth the extra money.
I believe I have one of the best bang for the buck deals to be found anywhere!

Q. Is there another customer I can ask about Flow Technics products?
       A. "Racin' Jayson" Wolcott says,
"It's great not to get the "RUBBER STAMP" kind of service the other big and well advertised companies give. Dave is more than willing to give you the personalized service you expect, and to help you see through the smoke and mirors of all the horsepower secrets other are reluctant to divulge, resulting in a performance level you desire at a price most all can afford. email Jayson.
